India’s one of the biggest and governments airline got hacked. Air India airline’s server got hacked and passenger’s data leaked. There are many international airlines are under this attack. Passenger’s data consist of personal data like name, date of birth, mobile no, passport information, ticket information, and credit card details.
Hacked data is from 26 august 2011 to 3 February 2021. Air India said that about 4.5 million passengers’ data is leaked which didn’t contain the CVV number. They have already said that their systems are under high security but how the attack happened no one knows. They are also requesting to change their passwords according to their safety.
Air India has really apologized about the incident, they said. They have been also said that they are taking measures of safety for the future. They have involved many data specialists to investigate this matter. They are securing the servers and changing the password of programs. They are also contacting credit card providers. In this world of technologies data is the most important thing for attackers.
